CFA Subsidy Funding
Creative Futures Academy has been awarded a total of €315,640 from the Human Capital Initiative HCI Pillar 3 Micro-Credentials Subsidy funding. Subsidies will range from 50 - 80% of the total course costs for eligible learners.
CFA Micro-Credentials Subsidy Funding at NCAD
Micro-credential courses are small, accredited courses designed to meet the demands of learners, enterprise and society. Micro-credential courses award between 1 and 30 ECTS and provide awards at Levels 6-9 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
Funding is available for the below courses:

Am I Eligible?
Check to ensure you meet the criteria below.
1. be living full-time in the Republic of Ireland
2. have your own, valid PPS Number
3. meet the nationality/visa requirement full details can be accessed here
4. You will need to apply based on either being:
- Employed - working either for yourself or someone else.
- Unemployed - not currently working, receiving a qualifying welfare payment from the Department of Social Protection (unless you are formerly self-employed) and actively seeking employment. Education and other entry criteria
- Individual course providers set entry requirements to courses and may include recognition of prior experience and learning.
Applicants will be asked to declare their eligibility for the subsidy. Once offered a place on a HCI micro-credential subsidised course, applicants must complete a declaration form to confirm their eligibility. Forms will be circulated by the course provider.
